New path is in front of Canigou

New path “Love”

Path open for the season 2013, equipped with stainless steel studs Petzl 12 with chains to each relay (personal finance ...).
Openers Thierry Brunet, Pierre Drouilhet, Thomas Dulac, Dominique Wild.
Open a view to promote the discovery of the way mountain climbing ... 5C maximum, 5b mandatory.
Equipment : Corde et 2X50m 10 Draws
Approach 1 time shelter. Take the GR 10 which rises to peak Canigó by Joffre. 200 m after the refuge along the right side bar first creek trail (sometimes dry).
When you reach a ruin of a coral, follow the slope of Barbet westward (Canigou). Priaires follow up a scree composed of three large blocks. From there, take an inconspicuous trail from trudging on the side of the Barbet and is hidden at first by the Rhododendrons. Follow the path until it stops at the foot of the east face in Pierrier, from there reach the start of the path along the base of the east face.
The track is located just after the start of the gorge formed by the passage of the breach Durier. First point 3 m above ground.

Back to school !

Hello to all !

A new season starts I will also like eventful year that flowed.
The Friday sessions begin again at 18:30 from Friday 6 September. People – including teens – interested in climbing activity or canyon are invited to visit us on Friday at 18:30 at the Gaston Comes room.
After adult groups and youth groups (Préhistoteen), our climbing club makings of a new section. Children 7 with 11 years (Préhistochild) will be hosted on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am at climbing pan. The first course will begin on Wednesday 25 September during which the children can come and discover our activity. Feel free to visit us or contact us (prehistoroc@hotmail.fr)
