Last monthly outing of the season. The Kids came to the Gorges de Galamus. Meet the caving rescue friends in training at the Marie Jeanne. The course of this canyon is still as beautiful. Congratulations to our budding canyoners who did not tremble in front of the impressive obstacles ! Stepping forward one foot at a time always gets us somewhere… even if it is not the first thought that comes to us when we go up the gorges by this steep path 🙂 !

Experiencing new sensations allows you to change your perception and expand your comfort zone.. It promotes self-confidence. When we surpass ourselves physically, that we go beyond our limits, it's always painful. Doubt sets in. It's no fun. The mind is just as important as the body. The head does not go without the legs. A global path must take place to go further. As if the brain accepted to believe it. Every athlete knows, even if he tends to forget it afterwards. But what happiness after the effort ! It feels so good after giving it all. mind washed, calme, appeased. It's always a boost for morale ! It's good ! Canyoning leads to both physical well-being and psychological ease. The adrenaline produced during jumps makes this sport a real antidepressant. Canyoning allows you to better understand your body and control your emotions. The practice of canyoning is not only for elites. So do not hesitate to take the plunge.

The gorges of Galamus can also be climbed. But its walls are unlikely to attract crowds. Given the difficulties of access and the nature “demanding” channels, rare are the climbers who have proven the famous maxim of Philippe : “Galamus once no more!»
