Approach 1 time shelter. Take the GR 10 which rises to peak Canigó by Joffre. 200 m after the refuge along the right side bar first creek trail (sometimes dry).
When you reach a ruin of a coral, follow the slope of Barbet westward (Canigou). Priaires follow up a scree composed of three large blocks. From there, take an inconspicuous trail from trudging on the side of the Barbet and is hidden at first by the Rhododendrons. Follow the path until it stops at the foot of the east face in Pierrier, from there reach the start of the path along the base of the east face.
